Award of Excellence - OPA 16th National Exhibition

Stacey's painting "First Light" was awarded the Utrecht Award of Excellence at the Oil Painters of America 2007 National Exhibition at Whistle Pik Galleries in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Southwest Art Magazine - "21 Under 31: The Next Generation"



Stacey has been chosen as one of Southwest Art Magazine's "21 Under 31" young artists to watch in the September 2006 issue of the magazine.

Forbes Trinchera Ranch Residency

American Artist has chosen Stacey as one of sixteen artists invited to paint the Forbes Trinchera Ranch near Durango, Colorado. The artists will spend nine days at the ranch, painting and gathering reference material. Artwork produced during the residency will then be featured in an issue of American Artist, and included in an exhibit at the FORBES Galleries in New York City.

Award of Excellence - OPA 15th National Exhibition

Stacey's painting "From the Top" was awarded the Utrecht Award of Excellence at the Oil Painters of America 2007 National Exhibition at Whistle Pik Galleries in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters National Show - 2008

Stacey participated as a guest artist and was awarded Collector’s Choice at the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters (RMPAP) National Show at Elk Horn Gallery in Winter Park, Colorado. This show brought 40 plein air painters from across the country together in Grand County for a week of painting on location, culminating in an outstanding show of the artists’ fresh works and a quick-draw and auction.
