To inquire about a commission, please fill out the online form here. I welcome commissions, and am always happy to work with a collector to create a painting of a desired scene or format.  Commissioned landscapes typically fall into two categories:

- If you see a specific painting or subject you like, I can do a similar studio painting in a designated size. 

- I can also do a commission of a specific scene or place. When possible, I prefer to travel to the chosen location and complete multiple field studies and sketches. You select your favorite of these studies to have enlarged into a studio painting of a designated size.

I like to keep the collector involved throughout the painting process. In the beginning, it is helpful to know which paintings you are drawn to and why, so that I can get a good idea of your tastes and preferences. Photographs of the space where the painting will be hanging are often beneficial in determining appropriate size and framing.

Pricing for commissions is based on a per square inch price that is slightly above that of my existing originals, and includes framing and shipping. I require a 20% deposit and signing of a short contract to signal the beginning of the project. When the painting is complete, I send digital images of the piece for approval, and ship the work once it is dry.
