Stacey's paintings "Stillness" and "River Study" have both been accepted to the prestigious Salon International exhibition at Greenhouse Gallery. Stacey has been invited to participate in "Les Femmes," a show of works by the top female masters of the contemporary and traditional genre in the US. The show was conceived as a showcase for women artists of note who represent dynamic breadth in stength and creativity, and the artist roster includes both painters and sculptors exploring a wide range of subject matter. An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 7th at Saks Galleries, followed by demonstrations at the gallery by participating artists from 12-4 pm on Saturday, October 8th. Stacey will be the Featured Artist at Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery during the September Art Walk in Crested Butte. Stop by if you're in the area to see some fresh fall paintings!

 

 The Crested Butte Plein Air Invitational will bring together some of the finest plein air landscape painters working today, in the spectacular mountain setting of Crested Butte, Colorado. This special event, sponsored by Southwest Artist Magazine and hosted by the Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery in Crested Butte, will feature 45 artists painting en plein air in the Crested Butte area from July 2nd through 14th, 2011 accompanied by a breathtaking exhibition, reception, and special events for patrons and collectors.

 

Stacey will have two paintings on display in this show of quality Art by the country's most talented Plein Air Artists!

 

Stacey will once again be participating in the Colorado Governor's Art Invitational Show and Sale at the Loveland Museum.  The show displays work by Colorado's best painters and sculptors.  A reception will be held on April 24, 2010 at the Loveland Museum. Stacey will have three paintings hanging in the 6" Squared Exhibition in Costa Mesa, CA. The Randy Higbee Gallery is hosting the second 6" Squared Exhibition and Sale, made up of all 6x6" paintings. The show will bring nationally acclaimed traditional representational artists to a spectacular venue in Orange County, California. A Gala Artists' Reception will be held Saturday, April 16. The show will run through May 6th.

 

This premier show will present the landscapes of Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding areas of Roosevelt National Forest, Comanche Peaks Wilderness and other spectacular vistas. Each artist has been invited to create one large landscape painting for the show. All the paintings will have been painted in 2010 and will represent the culmination of years of work and study. Each painting will encompass all the experience the artist possesses and their own technique in achieving a masterpiece. The artist will visit, compose, conduct studies, drawings and plein air work to gather the information they need to create their painting for this show.
 

 

Elk Horn Gallery will be presenting this group show featuring four works from each gallery artist, each painting depicting a different season - spring, summer, fall, winter. Stacey will have four new works on display showing the beauty of the Rocky Mountains as the seasons change.
